No doubt about it, the bear market lives on, and it's growling today. But financial advisers are offering a glimmer of hope as they pray for a bottom.
They don't know where that bottom is but when we hit it, advisers like Gary Gygi at WBB Securities say it may be a historic time to buy. He said, "People that have money in their 401(k), sitting in cash are people that have money that is expendable. They should look at putting money into the market because, I think, they will look back at this, perhaps the greatest buying opportunity in their lifetime."
Gygi warns, though, these markets are purely panic-driven right now, and while there are companies with value, he says you may not want to invest in them.
