SALT LAKE CITY — The folks who have entertained the Internet with their popular series, “Kid History,” are taking a fresh approach to their lip-synced videos.
In fact, the Roberts brothers (Randy, Brett and John) have branched out significantly from their 2011 debut with “Kid History” and created several series' for their YouTube channel, Bored Shorts TV. They even enlisted “Kid History” fan and singing superstar Josh Groban to take part in their shenanigans last year.
Bored Shorts TV's most recent creation is called “Senior Snippets,” and in this series the tables are turned when kids lip sync the everyday conversations of senior citizens.
Not only are the conversations made hilarious by how familiar they are to anyone who knows a senior citizen, but the kids who re-enact the scenes are incredibly good at the lip syncing itself and the nuanced body language that pushes the scenes over the edge of good into awesome.
