(KSL News) -- A crash involving a trailer and a semi truck tied up traffic this afternoon on I-80 in Parley's Canyon.
The Utah Highway Patrol says a man in a pickup truck was hauling a flatbed trailer when the trailer fishtailed, swung into traffic, and hit a semi. Troopers think the driver was going too fast.
Sgt. Keith Dockstader/Utah Highway Patrol: "If the driver had been going slower then the trailer would not have fishtailed, and he would not have lost control."
Westbound I -80 was closed for a short time while crews cleared the mess. No one was seriously hurt. UHP says the driver could be cited.
