STRONG WINDS — When a heavy storm is forecasted, that might be the right time to pack up the trampoline and store it in the garage. When the storm is raging, that might be a little too late.

This man waited until the wind was at full force before he decided to hammer stakes around the trampoline. His neighbor's trampoline even blew away before he was able to finish hammering.

The little girl in the background provided a foreshadowed warning when she said, "You'll get taken, too," as, moments later, the stakes give way and the trampoline is taken in the wind — almost taking the man with it.

A trampoline is certainly not worth risking your life for, so it's better to prepare before the storm rather than be sorry when it's too late. Mother Nature is certainly willing to claim anything in its path.

It's also dangerous to leave a trampoline unsecured in serious storms, as they have been known to cause serious injuries and even death in Utah and other states when picked up by the wind.
