TEXAS MINUS THE X — Some plays in sports couldn't be replicated even if tried 1,000 times.
Seattle Mariners first baseman Ty France had as poetic a home-run strike as you'll see this week when he hit the outfield scoreboard on a home run that gave his team a 3-2 lead on Tuesday.
The part of the scoreboard it hit was the best part, however, knocking out just a single letter in the word "Texas." That letter was "x."

"Ty France's homer put the Mariners up by a run and the Texas Rangers down an 'X' 😅," the Yahoo Sports Twitter account said.
The home run ended up being the game-winner for the Mariners, who look to sweep the 4-game series tonight in Seattle.
