THE ROOF — We all have morning routines.
Mine, for example, is waking up to yell at my kids to get out of my bed before I pour them a bowl of cereal only to find 12 granola bar wrappers already on the floor.
Maybe yours differs from mine, but I doubt it's as amazing skier Richard Permin's routine in this video titled, "Good Morning."
In the video from Red Bull, Permin wakes up, turns off his alarm, straps on some skis and then heads to the roof for a morning run of sorts. The four-minute video is pretty entrancing as you watch the world-class skier fly down rooftops in Avoriaz 1800, France. His skills are impressive enough, but the setting he's in will take your breath away. If I lived in this town, I wouldn't be skiing every morning, but I might still head up to the roof just to take in the views.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
Everything about the video is cool, but there is one thing I just can't get over. Permin's alarm goes off at 8 a.m. every day and he has a tough time rolling out of bed. Are you kidding me? 8 a.m.? If I ever get to sleep until 8 a.m. I'm going to make sure to write in my journal about the greatest day of my life. Maybe I should have been a professional skier.
Watch the video, hit the slopes and get some sleep.
