HORRORVILLE — To kick off the week of Halloween, here's a video that includes a trick and a treat for your scaredy cat pleasure.
First of all, I am not one of those people who loves to be scared; it's not fun. I do love a good, suspenseful movie that keeps me on the edge of my seat, but if 80 percent of the movie is made up of jump scares? Get real.
So you won't find me at a spook alley unless you pay me a large sum of money, and my first reaction will be to punch you in self-defense if you hide around a corner to scare me. Look, I can't help it if I have a healthy sense of personal safety.
All that being said, I know there are hordes of you out there who love to be sacred. You love that adrenaline rush and find yourself returning for more and more. And you've probably been that way since you were a kid to boot.
As anecdotal proof (which actually proves nothing), I present this video. Normally I wouldn't post anything about purposefully scaring a child, but this is a little different, because he loves it. The beautiful part of the video isn't that he enjoys it; it's his perfect, movie-reaction scream.
You have to see it fully appreciate it, which will only take 21 seconds of your day.
The video was first posted in December, but is currently gaining traction, because Halloween.
