SLINKY CITY — The world and the Internet are full of people who have spent an inordinate amount of time on developing seemingly useless skills or tricks. I spent most of my 8th grade choir class learning to write better with my left toes than with my left hand, this kid spends hours setting up ping-pong ball tricks, and this teen spent the better part of his life mastering the yo-yo.
It’s clear we as a whole find these skills moderately to hugely entertaining and impressive, which is why we watch these videos over and over on the Internet. Plus, how do you think circus performers get started? That’s right, by cultivating odd skills.
This guy, for whatever reason, decided that his time would be spent on Slinkys. I know what you’re thinking: What can you do with a Slinky besides pretend juggling, pushing it down the stairs or ruining it forever with one careless kink or break? You’ll just have to watch the video to find out.
