FAILED ATTEMPTVILLE — Crime never pays. And yet criminals every day attempt to foil the system for one reason or another.
One of the most common crimes is robbing a bank — not a laughing matter in any sense. It seems to make sense why people would attempt it, it's where all the money is. But rarely does it actually work.
In an attempted robbery somewhere in Asia, one man just didn't have a chance from the get go.
Bank security footage shows a man approach a teller window, flashing a meat cleaver in front of what appears to be reinforced glass — thus protecting a teller from a potential threat.
Mistake No. 1.
The man stands there, expecting the woman teller to just be complicit in his odd request. However, he either doesn’t care or just simply doesn’t see the security guards who casually walk over and disarm the situation.
Mistake No. 2.
Overall, it’s really a poorly executed attempt, which is great for all parties involved, except for the man with the meat cleaver.
Just ask the bank teller behind the glass who is laughing at you. That says it all.
