SALT LAKE CITY — It's a new year and there are still cool videos being made all around the world — good thing. And sometimes it's the old tricks that come back to be amazing once again.

If you're like me, you remember those assemblies in elementary school where yo-yo masters put on a show and then tried to sell you some of the professional yo-yo's. I'll admit it, I got tricked into believing I'd be able to buy a yo-yo and learn how to "Walk the Dog," "Rock the Baby," or being really adventurous, the "Assisted Brain-Scrambler" trick.

Unfortunately, the best I could do was "Walk the Dog," and that took forever to learn. But for Timpview High student Andrew Hulterstrom, the yo-yo tricks seem effortless.

In a video posted at the end of 2013, Hulterstrom shows off many amazing tricks — things I didn't even know were possible.

At one point, Hulterstrom appears to wrap his hands up in the string but the yo-yo continues to bounce and move effortlessly. As far as yo-yo videos go, Hulterstrom has to be near the top. Check out the amazing tricks and enjoy the new year.
