Sandra Yi ReportingPolice in Cedar City have arrested four men, one of them a teenager, accused of raping two women at a party.
Police say the women were attacked during a party at one of the suspect's homes in Cedar City. The women told investigators it happened Saturday night. Police say one of the victims and one of the suspects know each other. He invited her and her friend to his house. But the gathering ended with an attack against the two women.
Police say the victims were held against their will and raped by several men in a bedroom-bathroom area in the home. Police say the victims and the suspects were drinking before it happened.
Sgt. Jerry Womack, Cedar City Police Dept.: "There was a party at the house. Alcohol was involved. They say, they allege that the suspects forced them to have sex against their will. We're still investigating and we still have some leads we're following up on and people we still need to talk to."
Police arrested three men -- Daniel Provost-Mitchell, Andy Gorecki and Telerrence McIntyre, who are all in their early 20s. They also arrested a 15-year old boy who was taken to a juvenile detention center.
Police say some of the suspects are from out of state and are in Cedar City working temporary jobs. Police say the men face forcible rape charges, but could face other charges once the investigation is complete.
The victims were treated at a local hospital.
