SOUTHERN UTAH -- An SUV carrying 11 people bound for California had just crossed the Utah border into Arizona on I-15 when it blew a tire and rolled Monday night. One person is dead.
Troopers say of the 11 people riding in the Ford Expedition, two of them at most were wearing seat belts. Troopers say several of the passengers were holding children on their laps.
Information from the scene is sketchy, but it appears a 27-year-old California man died. A 7-year old-girl is critically injured and other passengers are injured, too.
