LOVELAND, Colo. — Wildlife sightings in urban areas aren't infrequent these days, but the sheer number of elk that passed through a Colorado town late last year is staggering.

Try to count all of them. I'm pretty sure you can't because that is a massive elk herd.

According to the video description, the elk herd sighting took place in late 2024. It was "an incredible and unexpected moment of wildlife in the middle of the city," the couple who got it on video reacted.

As the description notes, it initially seems like a calm day on the town for the elk herd, but soon they take off rapidly, and all oncomers better watch out.

As expected, there is a plethora of elk cow in the video, but look hard enough, and you can spot some pretty impressive antler racks as well.

Here's all I know: For one day in December 2024, the term "elks convention" was taken pretty literally.
