DANCETON ABBEY — I admit I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. In fact, I'm more like a bowling ball — but at least I'm willing to admit it.

With that said, I'm sure even smart people experience the following on occasion. Have you ever seen a human do something that's so incredible that your brain seems to refuse to comprehend what your eyes are seeing?

For example, watching a master guitarist play something and your brain thinks, "Nah, that dude either has a recording playing somewhere assisting him or he has an additional 15 fingers we just can't see." Or maybe it's an Olympic-level hurdler flying down the track, and your brain is like, "Nope. Not real. That woman can't be that fast, coordinated or precise. This isn't real."

That's the kind of reaction I had to this video.

This guy is dancing, and it may be the smoothest thing I've ever seen — and I'm not just talking about smooth dancing. This may be smoother than a calm creek gently pushing water downhill, or watching a marble roll across a flat and shear surface. This really is amazing.

I think part of the reason my brain refuses to believe my eyes is that I can barely get out of my car without losing my balance and nearly falling down, let alone keep a rhythm in my body in any way, shape or form.

I think this comment on YouTube from Trevor Holst puts it best: "300 years ago he would have been burned for witchcraft."

This is true, Trevor. This guy would have been arrested about 12 seconds into this dance. But thankfully, we're more lenient on witchcraft these days and will let this necromancer slide (pun totally intended) and enjoy his fluid frolicking.
