Have You Seen This? Nevada woman teaches how to bring whimsy into your life

LAS VEGAS — If you're like me, life can get boring after a while of doing the same thing every day. But one woman on social media has taught me there are hundreds of ways to bring more whimsy into my life.

Serena Neel is a sourdough baker, dog mom, craft lover and whimsy expert. She uses 100% of her freewill to create social media content that is just genuinely happy and will for sure save you from a doom scroll episode.

If you have never heard of her, one of her latest series of videos has been about her guest bathroom — which she has been painting every single month with a new theme since October.

From a ghosty graveyard, a cozy sweater Thanksgiving, and a candy cane Christmas to a heart-filled Valentine's Day, egg-cellent Easter and most recently a flower-filled May, Neel has wowed her viewers with her creativity and zest for life.

From her colorful sourdoughs to her Cricut sticker masterpieces to the extravagant paper garlands, she is constantly having a blast each day. And the best part is a lot of her videos include her serving others through giving food to pantries, donating crafts to local schools, putting together festive gift baskets for family and friends, and cheering up her postal workers with free drinks and treats.

While you may not have the time to create a 40-foot pool noodle lizard keychain, a custom set of playing cards based on your favorite things or a SpongeBob-themed coffee table, hopefully she can serve as a reminder that it's OK to not take life too seriously.
