THE DESERT — Food is life — it’s true for us, and it’s true for animals.
But that doesn’t mean we all approach food in the same way. Some of us eat to live, and some of us live to eat. There are people who are OK with eating sprouted mung beans at every meal, and there are people who dedicate their free time to seeking out the tastiest food they can find, whether it’s at a dive or a fancy steak house.
And if you own a food-motivated pet, you understand how difficult it can be to hide all the food in a secure place so your pet doesn’t eat themselves sick at every turn (I’ve known cats and dogs that will eat a whole stick of butter off the table if the butter if left unattended).
Basically, even if an animal is domesticated, you can’t stop their intense efforts to get all the food in its belly.
In this video, you’ll see a man in his car with a loaf of bread in his hand, probably in an attempt to wow his TikTok followers by feeding some camels. But the second the video starts, it all goes b-a-n-a-n-a-s.
Two camels gotta have that dough, and they aggressively jam their heads into the car window to get it. They’re so relentless, it almost starts to get scary. When you realize they aren’t biting or hurting the man, it gets pretty hysterical as you watch him start regretting all the life decisions that led him to this point.

Most camels in the world are domesticated, but it’s unclear if these are tame or feral mammals. What is clear is that they’re wild for food.
