HOUSTON — What do you do when someone breaks into your home? You call the police — even if the "person" breaking in was just a deer.
The Houston Police Department posted this video to Twitter Friday showing a deer running (and sliding) through a home. According to ABC News, the deer actually climbed into the house through a window, surprising the kids who were home at the time.

The kids called the police, and luckily, the officers were able to get the situation under control. In the video, you can see them cornering the deer before it runs out the front door.
"Nothing appeared to be missing from the home, so our officers let him go with a warning," Houston police wrote on Twitter.
It seems like this deer burglar was nothing to worry too much about, but I'll still be keeping my windows shut when I know there might be wildlife lurking nearby. And if you're near Houston, keep an eye out for this deer burglar. Now that he's gotten away with a warning, hopefully, he leaves his life of crime behind him for good.
