SALT LAKE CITY — Over 15,000 Rocky Mountain Power customers in Kearns, West Jordan and Taylorsville were without power for several hours Sunday, the company said.

Rocky Mountain Power officials said the outage was first reported about 7 a.m. and power was restored to most of the households by 2 p.m.

Officials said anyone still without power should contact Rocky Mountain Power at 1-877-508-5088 for updated information. Residents can also visit the company's outage page at rockymountainpower.net/ut-map for updates specific to their area.

The cause of the outage was not available Sunday.
