BARKINGTON — We may joke about owners looking like their dogs (or is it dogs looking like their owners?), but there are cases that prove this postulation to be true.

Beyond the great bit from Disney’s animated “101 Dalmatians” where Pongo spots dog and human look-alikes while looking for a suitable love interest for Roger, there is one recent compelling piece of video evidence for the look-alike argument.

YouTube user Christine Sutton rides a motorcycle and has an English bulldog named Sweets. Seemingly inseparable, Sutton takes Sweets on her motorcycle rides. Sweets perches fearlessly in front of Sutton, donning killer goggles and looking pretty rad and at home on the ride.

If that weren’t enough look-alike adorableness, Sweets also has taken on at least one mannerism from Sutton.

Although I know next to nothing about motorcycle culture, I do know that part of a motorcyclist’s etiquette includes a wave when passing fellow motorcyclists on the road. And that’s just what Sweets does without prompting and in perfect sync with Sutton. Who knew that motorcycle culture could be so adorable?
