HOUSTON (AP) — Homer Causey threw two touchdowns to help lead undefeated Texas Southern to a 45-23 win over Alabama A&M on Saturday night.

The Tigers (4-0, 2-0 SWAC) forced a fumble on the opening kickoff that was recovered in the end zone by Michael Holmes to take a lead that was never threatened. Daveonn Porter ran for 123 yards on 18 carries, including a 70-yard scramble for a touchdown in the third quarter, and also was Texas Southern's leading receiver with 75 yards on three receptions.

Causey finished 8 of 19 for 80 yards passing, while Jamal Small was 7 of 13 for 145 yards and an interception and a rushing TD from the 2.

Jaymason Lee led Alabama A&M (1-3, 0-1) with 285 yards passing, including three touchdowns and an interception. He also was sacked three times. Montaurius Smith caught five passes for 108 yards.
