(KSL News) Alcohol was likely a factor in a single-car accident in South Salt Lake today.
The car was heading north on State Street at 3100 South when it hit a power pole.
Crews had to extricate the driver from the car. Then he was flown to the hospital in serious condition.
The passenger, who suffered minor injuries, was taken by ambulance to Intermountain Medical Center.
