THE TRAILS — If you don't think cats can accompany you on outdoor adventures, then you have the wrong cat.

I know you don't believe me. You think, sure, dogs love snow, and pandas love snow, and even barely walking toddlers get in on the snow fun, but not cats. No siree bub.

Behold, Jesper the cat. He runs on a leash, rides on shoulders and accompanies his owner on Nordic cross country skiing adventures. Plus he's currently garnering much fame (but probably not fortune) on the Internet.

Now that you've watched, you think sure, one cat likes adventures, but one exception means nothing. But there are more adventuring cats, my friends. Check out the hiking and outdoor adventures of @burmaadventurecat in Oregon.

Don't worry about finding more cats of this ilk, for I'm now on the cat adventurers' beat. Stay tuned, and I'll (eventually) be sure to post any videos of other cats and their owners enjoying the great outdoors together. Get excited.

For now, you can follow Jesper on his very own Facebook page.
