AN IOWA FOREST — Spotting one albino deer in the wilderness would seem like a rare occurrence — but what about a family of them?
Josh Clark of Iowa saw such a thing for himself this June, and, luckily for us, he captured the scene so we could see it, too.
"(It) is extremely rare to see an albino deer, but to see a family of them is unheard of!" Clark noted in the video description.
So how does this unique deer family spend its day? It's an afternoon at the creek, keeping cool, enjoying a snack.
After about a minute of being captured via camera, the deer sauntered away peacefully into the foliage.
The clip ends with the fawn deliberating whether it can make a jump across a modest stream. It rears its legs back to make the jump. It's a cute touch at the end of Clark's encounter that it's clear he and the viewers won't forget any time soon.
