PAYSON -- Police cited a 19-year-old man in connection with a beer theft at a convenience store on Main Street in Payson.
Police say Saturday around 8 p.m., the man walked in and picked up two cases of beer, but he stopped and stuck his tongue out at the clerk before running off.
The clerk gave chase, and the man dropped one of the cases of beer, but still got away.
After the surveillance video was released, police received several tips, which led them to the 19-year-old.
He was cited Wednesday morning with misdemeanor theft and illegal possession of alcohol.
Friday night around 9 p.m., another man walked into the same store and walked out with two cases of beer. Police have not arrested or cited anyone in connection with that theft.
