WEST VALLEY CITY -- A West Valley man has been charged with hitting his 86-year-old mother with a pan.
On Tuesday, Oct. 20, Brent Neilson -- who lives with his mother -- became angry with her and started breaking her property.
Prosecutor say Neilson, 47, later hit his mother with a pan, leaving a gash on her arm.
Neilson is charged with abuse or neglect of a disabled or elder adult, and criminal mischief.
He will be arraigned on Wednesday.
