MILLARD COUNTY -- The body of a missing BASE jumper was found Thursday in the Notch Peak Area.

LeRoy Buckley, 31, from Lenoardwood, Mo., had been missing since September 9 when he and his friend, Kurt Gregory got separated during the hike in.

Gregory, 44, from Twin Falls, Idaho, activated his personal distress beacon after he ran out of water.

Crews located and rescued Gregory, but didn't find Buckley until Thursday.

The Millard County Sheriff's Office says efforts are underway to recover Buckley's body.
