HYRUM -- A 9-year-old boy is critically injured after being hit by a car in Hyrum.
The Deseret News reports it happened Monday around 5:30 p.m. in a neighborhood near 300 South and 300 East.
Cache County sheriff's deputies don't believe the 56-year-old driver was speeding when he hit the boy, who was riding a bike. Investigators say the boy may have turned into oncoming traffic.
The boy was flown to Primary Children's Medical Center in critical condition.
