ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- A St. George elementary school teacher has been arrested on suspicion of having unlawful sex with a teenage boy.

Bloomington Hills Elementary teacher Doug Bullock was charged Friday with 12 counts of sodomy with a 16- to 17-year-old. Each count carries up to five years in prison.

Police say the boy came forward saying he had a sexual relationship with the 42-year-old Bullock from August to April 2008 at Bullock's home.

Washington County School District officials say Bullock has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation, and there's no indication any students at the school were involved.
