(KSL News) Commuters in Provo Canyon have a new stretch of highway to drive on.
The new surface on Highway 189 is elevated 40 feet above the old highway.
The new stretch of road will eventually be part of a four-lane highway from the Sundance access to Deer Creek Dam.
It should be finished by the end of next year.
