SALT LAKE CITY -- It's already been a good summer for movie theaters, and they expect it to be even more magical this week.

I don't mean to scare you, but the Dark Lord Voldemort comes back Wednesday morning.

Megaplex Theaters Senior Vice President Blake Andersen said, "This is Harry Potter country."

Judging by advanced sales, Andersen says this installment, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," could be the most popular out of the entire franchise. "This is looking like one of those where it could lead to 24 hour theater openings," he said.

Luckily, customers don't need to jump through the hoops they used to when the series began because of online sales.

"Back during the first couple of movies people would have to camp out for days just to get a ticket and then camp out again to get into the theater," Andersen said.

Megaplex is scheduling a massive Harry Potter party Tuesday at 9 p.m. at the Jordan Commons location at 9400 S. State Street before the midnight showing.
