LAYTON -- A plea deal is in the works for a Layton woman accused of defrauding the Davis School District out of millions of dollars.

Susan Ross and her husband John Ross are accused of stealing $4.3 million from the district over five years.

Prosecutors say the Ross' overcharged the school district by inflating the price of school books and selling the district copies of copyrighted material.

Susan Ross' attorney says she'll likely plead guilty within the month in a deal with prosecutors. John Ross' attorney says he'll likely go to trial.
