SALT LAKE CITY - Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, is joking about cleaning up Washington with the help of a Hollywood star.
During an event hosted by the Motion Picture Association of America, Politico.com asked Utah's senior senator about wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and how he'd stack up in Congress.
Hatch says he wouldn't want "The Rock" running against him, but running with him might be a different story.
"I think it would be nice to have somebody in the Senate who can stand with me and just kick the crap out of some of these people," Hatch said.
Johnson said, "I think there's other minds out there who could serve our country better."
"The Rock" says he gets asked a lot about a possible run for Congress.
