(KSL News) -- Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon is looking into hiring practices in government offices.
The Mayor is starting his probe in the office of the county recorder, where allegations have been made of hiring temproray workers rather than full time qualified employees.
Recorder Gary Ott says the move is purely political since he is a Republican and Coroon is a Democrat.
However, the Mayor denies the allegation and says he will be looking into hiring practices elsewhere as well.
