EAGLE MOUNTAIN — A person was flown to a hospital with critical injuries after a shooting in Eagle Mountain on Tuesday evening.

The Utah County Sheriff's Office said the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Morgan Way and Wild Horse Way, according to a social media post late Tuesday night.

According to police, there was an altercation involving a group of adult and juvenile males.

"During said altercation, shots were fired and one adult male was injured," Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Ray Ormond said, adding that multiple suspects are in custody and there is no current danger to the public.
