Have You Seen This? At least somebody's enjoying the demonstration

We've all seen our share of pre-flight demonstrations. But for this baby, it's the most amazing thing ever.

ON BOARD – We've all seen a pre-flight demonstration or two. In fact, if you fly a lot for work or leisure, you've probably seen enough of them to last you a lifetime.

I know these presentations are important. I know they contain lots of crucial information. But sometimes they begin to feel repetitive to frequent fliers.

I definitely appreciated the trend of humorous safety videos started by Virgin America and Air New Zealand around 2007. At least that took some of the sternness out of the proceedings and provided something unexpected.

Here's a fun collection of some of the best videos from Delta, British Airways, Virgin America, Air New Zealand and others. With cameos from Betty White, Richard Simmons and Gandalf, they definitely rise above the usual fare.

But it's important to remember that even though these demonstrations contain obvious information (such as how to buckle a seatbelt), they are utterly fascinating to babies. Think about it. A six-month-old has no idea how a buckle works. And those oxygen masks are probably the most hilarious thing they've ever seen.

This video is a prime example of how most babies react.

Simply adorable. Not only is this baby intrigued by all the flotation device information being provided, but she seems to really appreciate the fact that she's getting free entertainment onboard this flight. As she proves, these demonstrations can be a delight for the right audience.
