THE MAIN DRAG — It's time for a pop quiz: What is the best children's book of all time?
Perhaps you had a classic picture book come to mind, such as "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," "Where the Wild Things Are," "Goodnight Moon," "Harold and the Purple Crayon" or "The Little Engine That Could."
Or maybe it's a modern gem such as "Press Here," "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom," "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" or "Jasper and the Yeti" (yes, I'm a little biased when it comes to that last book on the list).
For my money, the best children's book of all time is Richard Scarry's magnum opus, "Cars and Trucks and Things That Go." From start to finish, the book is a delight. And even though I remember where Goldbug is hiding on every page, I still enjoy the hunt.
One highlight of "Cars and Trucks and Things That Go" is the Bananamobile. Turns out, the thing actually exists. Check out this video.
Apparently, this incredible banana car was spotted in Chihuahua, Mexico. The user who posted the video said it was at the intersection of Mount Everest and Nogales and that the license plates read "SPLIT."
Well done to whoever created this amazing vehicle. Next up, I want them to make the "alligator car" from "Cars and Trucks and Things That Go."
