SALT LAKE CITY — What happens when an earthquake strikes underwater? Thanks to some scuba divers, now we can see it for ourselves.

On Nov. 8, a magnitude 7.2 quake struck in the Banda Sea region of Indonesia.

When the quake hit and the sea floor shifted, sediment suddenly rose from the sea bed. The video appears to show divers grabbing onto coral while being jostled by the changes in the current.

The earthquake did not cause a tsunami threat, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
