FLORIDA — We've all been in situations where one false move unravels all our hard work. Maybe it's accidentally deleting a writing project from your computer. Or it might be an epic sneeze that collapses your attempt at building the world's tallest tower of cards.
Regardless of the details, you often find yourself watching in disbelief as chaos ensues. Rather than frantically scramble around in these situations, it's best to just save your energy. Wait for the destruction to take place and then start over.
There are plenty of movies where someone bumps into a library bookshelf, which collapses into the shelf — soon, all the shelves in the library have toppled over like giant dominos. I was reminded of this type of sequence when I saw this video.
Nothing lost, however; the poster says he was able to rebuild the trail, which I assume is some kind of spook alley ... "and the trail was a huge success with 800 people walking through it," he wrote in the video caption.
While I'm grateful this fellow was able to get the Halloween trail reassembled, I have to wonder how safe it was for those 800 visitors. The design seemed awfully precarious and if one person had accidentally bumped into a support pole, the whole contraption might've collapsed, again.
