THE LOCKER ROOM — Many, many people find the feats of sports inspirational.
These feats also extend to locker rooms and sidelines where some speeches and rallying cries give the players the extra boost they need to go out there and play their hardest.
Some of those speeches happened in real life, and some have happened only within the confines of sports movies. Some speeches are calm and intense, and some have swearing and more … physical intensity.
The range is wide; however, it's not often you hear a sports speech that inspires you through cuteness. But that's just what's going to happen to you right now.
In this video, 6-year-old Callan Parks gives a rousing pregame speech to his favorite junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League, the Peterborough Petes.
You know it's going to be good when Callan starts with "Legends are made every day." But it really goes to the next cuteness level when it's clear that Callan is still working out the pronunciation differences between R and W.
His passion is clear, his memorized speech is well structured, and everyone in the moment and who sees this video probably feels inspired (or at least entertained by Callan's adorableness.)
In fact, maybe now we all want to go out and win on for the Gipper.
