We know the fans have plenty to say about the BYU-Utah football game this weekend. But what does legendary Cougar football coach LaVell Edwards think?

Former BYU coach LaVell Edwards has good things to say about both BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall and his former player, coach Kyle Whittingham. But does he think this is the biggest rivalry game ever between the schools?

"I don't know that we've ever had a year when there's been this much riding on the game, except maybe in '84 when we were undefeated," Edwards said.

He says he'll be at the game at Rice-Eccles Stadium, away from all the red shirts in a loge.

As for the BCS system, Edwards says he doesn't like it but isn't a big fan of playoffs either.
