A WORLD OF COLOR — Father’s Day gifts are a perfect opportunity to honor and celebrate our dads.

A good gift shows you’re aware of your father’s hobbies (a new golf club, a video game, or some power tools), his needs and wants. Giving that present gives such a happy, warm feeling inside.

This video shows a gift that may be the ultimate example of that heartwarming, soul-redeeming experience. As Twitter-user mariah. writes, “My Dad’s colorblind and literally since I can remember he’s talked about wanting the glasses that help the colorblind but they’ve always been super expensive. So this Father’s Day I decided to give him the gift of color. I love you so much, Dad. Happy Father’s Day.”

Then comes the kind of pure, beautiful reaction that makes our world feel like a miracle:

This dad manages to become even more wholesome in the follow-up screenshots his daughter posts later, where he writes, “I can see. I am so (happy) I can see color. Makes me cry every time I put them on. Thank you, Mariah.”

Mariah also points out in her tweet thread that these glasses come from Pilestone, Inc. and as this video went viral, the company reached out and offered an additional free pair for her to give away.

When life is difficult (which is really all it’s been this year), we often turn to our dads for comfort. This is a wonderful reminder that our dads deserve the best, and our world is still colorful and bright.
