THE BACKYARD — Have you ever thought all of nature was in cahoots? Like, if you caught two animals alone together, they’d start talking to each other. And when you confronted them about it, you’d become the protagonist of a children’s movie? Or, if you were really quiet in the woods, you’d accidentally find a fairy and learn about a secret world you’d have to save as the chosen one?
Well, this video confirms it. All of it. Turns out, animals do get along whenever people aren’t around (and possibly if they just stay still enough). Just look at this dog and deer frolicking in the backyard, letting it slip that they are secretly best buddies when the humans aren’t paying attention.
See?! They’ve got to be plotting something. Maybe it's just a weekly work meeting to discuss how to scare people with late-night yard videos (an absolute classic of animal shenanigans), or maybe it’s a board meeting to plan the eventual downfall of the human race. It could also be a simple game of tag, but that’s what they want you to think.
That deer has conspicuous tail movements and that dog’s excitement has to be some sort of nefarious secret code. I’m just saying.
We may never know what schemes these two were hatching. But now that we know all of the animal kingdom is planning something, we must be on alert.
