THE SCARY BARN — Alpacas are interesting animals. They are often confused with llamas, have crazy hairdos, like to spit, can weigh nearly 200 pounds and, oh yeah, they breathe fire.

Well, this one does. Well, this one does, kind of.

This alpaca's name is Cinnamon and I think the moniker is fitting. She lives on the Rusty Stars Alpaca Farm in Iowa and in the winter of 2018, she let the world know she can breathe fire.

Aron Shultz runs the farm and captured this dragon-esque moment on frigid morning. Apparently this is an optical illusion brought on by the cold. It was 18 degrees Fahrenheit this particular morning and when CInnamon breathed out the light and the cold made it look like fire. Or at least that's what "they" want you to think. For me, however, I think there is something else going on here.

I believe Rusty Stars Alpaca Farm is actually a farm run by the state department and they are breeding fire-breathing alpacas. When their dragon-cloning idea failed they tried llamas, but they proved too moody, so they started in on the experiments with the alpacas. Cinnamon finally breathed fire successfully and they caught it on tape. Shultz started to get worried about how these new mythical creatures would be used, so he released the video to expose the truth. The government got ahold of it and put its nice little "optical illusion" spin on it and duped us all.

Well, almost all of us.

To those worried about Shultz and Cinnamon, I think they're OK. They escaped in a gnarly fire-breathing escapade and now live on a tropical island where they have nighly BBQs fueled by Cinnamon.

Is this true? I can't say for sure, but if I suddenly disappear, you'll then know I was onto something and that I'm hopefully enjoying some charred mahi-mahi.
