THE ROAD — Why did the chicken cross the road?
Why did the cow cross the road?
To go get Chick-fil-A, obviously!
We’ve all seen those commercials where the cows are holding up signs saying “Eat more chikin.” Well, the day has come where it’s not only humans who are heading to Chick-fil-A. The cows are taking their own advice and heading to the popular restaurant themselves.
In this video, a woman captures the moment a cow crosses a Noblesville, Indiana, road.
“Runaway cow!” Athena Hopkins, who filmed the moment from her vehicle, said on Twitter.
Police are there to ensure the safety of both the cow and drivers as the bovine slowly trots off the sidewalk and onto the road.
The cow stares down a few drivers, seemingly saying, “I’m walking here! Just trying to get some 12-piece nuggets with waffle fries.”
Cars slow down as the cow finally makes it across the road. The cow continues on the sidewalk before heading down a hill toward a Chick-fil-A restaurant.
The cow knew it was Saturday and the place would be open. If it was Sunday, then that would be awkward, right?
The Noblesville Police Department described the whole ordeal on Facebook as “running with the bulls,” and said they chased the cow throughout the east side of town.
Who doesn’t love Chick-fil-A? So we can’t really hold it against this runaway, hungry cow for wanting to have a tasty meal.
I kid, of course.
All jokes aside, glad the cow, as well as all the drivers, were OK.
