MAGNA — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that began as a possible road rage incident in Magna Wednesday afternoon.
The Unified Police Department dispatch said they received reports of shots fired around 2 p.m. near 9080 W. Magna Main St. Other reports now indicate the shooting happened near 2600 S. 8090 West, according to Unified Lt. Ken Malone.
An altercation between a red passenger car and a couple of pedestrians broke out and ended in a shooting, according to Malone. There were no injuries, Malone said.
Police have taken several people into custody for questioning, though authorities are still unsure what caused the incident, Malone said.
