An Ogden neighborhood is on edge after somebody reportedly tried to attack a teenage girl in her bedroom in the middle of the night.
At about 2 a.m. Tuesday, a scream had a father rushing to his 14-year-old daughter's bedroom, where he discovered a man atop her.
"She screamed, fought with him, kicked him. She fell on the floor, he got up and ran. And that's when dad got up and chased him out," Lt. Loring Draper, with the Ogden Police Department, said.
Draper said the girl told police she was not touched inappropriately.
Police found a missing window pane in the house, located on the 200 block of 30th Street. "It's a large enough area that somebody could have entered the house from," Loring said.
Police believe the suspect and the girl may have known each other.
