SALT LAKE CITY — It's state tournament time for high school basketball in Utah. The girls Class 4A and 5A state tournaments are underway, while the boys Class 4A and 5A tournaments will begin next week.
High school state basketball tournaments always provide great upsets, buzzer-beaters, triumphs and heartbreak.
There are plenty of schools looking to win a title. Some schools share the same mascot/nickname, like Millard and Duchesne, whose nicknames are the Eagles. There are many schools that go by the nickname Tigers, Warriors and Wildcats.
In this quiz, we'll look to see if you can name some of the mascots/nicknames of the state's local high schools. Some of these schools and mascots/nicknames are very familiar, while others may be a bit more difficult to recognize.
