AMERICAN FORK, Utah (AP) -- A 30-gallon propane tank explodes through an American Fork building -- causing thousands of dollars in damage.
Fire officials say the explosion happened after one of six blazes in the area heated up the bottom of the tank.
Officials say the tank's end blew through Roberts Manufacturing, landing 20 to 30 feet inside the building. The explosion also broke out windows and damaged doors.
Fire officials say a sparks from a passing by train ignited the fires yesterday. The fires also threatened several homes. However, homeowners and fire crews were able to put out the blazes.
The fires causes an estimated 20 to 25-thousand dollars in damage.
