PARK CITY — Joseph Lloyd Dombrowski of Team Cannondale-Garmin didn't win the first leg of the Tour of Utah. Or the second. Or the third.
When the dust had settled on the final day of the event, however, Dombrowski was clutching the yellow jersey as the race's best overall rider at the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah on Sunday in Park City.
Dombrowski finished with a final time of 28 hours, 6 minutes, 48 seconds — 50 seconds ahead of second-place Michael Woods of Team Optum and more than a minute ahead of third-place Brent Bookwalter of BMC Racing.
"It was a great week for us as a team," said Dombrowski, 24, who was riding his first year with Team Cannondale-Garmin. "I'll definitely remember yesterday's stage, winning the stage and taking yellow. It was really a great team effort today. They did a super job controlling the race going into the final climb, and then put me in the right spot, and from there, it was just follow everybody."

Lachlan Norris won the seventh and final stage of the tour with a stage time of 3:14:51, edging Bookwalter. The pair was able to separate from third-place Natnael Berhane of MTN-Qhubeka during the stage.
Bookwalter also took home the final white jersey for the top sprinter in the seventh stage.
Colombia's Daniel Martinez wore the light blue jersey as the best young rider of the classification, and BMC Racing's Taylor Phinney won the fan-favorite award.
Colombia won the team race with a final time of 84:29:08, followed by BMC Racing at 84:33:21 and Hincapie Racing at 84:35:25. Team SmartStop (84:43:01) and Cannondale-Garmin (84:49:55) rounded out the top five.
