SALT LAKE COUNTY — A group of two dozen World War II veterans returned from their trip to Washington, D.C., where they visited the memorials honoring several fallen comrades.
And they're getting quite the hero's welcome at the air guard base.
The veterans left for the nation's capital Monday morning, and spent two days touring the memorials thanks to Honor Flight Utah, a non-profit organization that helps to honor "the greatest generation."
Watch the videos to see the reception a few hundred friends and strangers gave them as they arrived from their Honor Flight.
